Bridging Gaps,
Building Wealth
Empowering Women Through Financial Independence
The Inspiration Behind DhanSarthi
When Vidhi Miglani, our Founder, noticed that the young girl she knew had stopped going to school, she was told, “My father got fired recently and spends all of my mother’s income on alcohol. There is little left for things like education.”
That’s when Vidhi discovered that regardless of the employment status, women don’t often retain control over money. And in a society where “Money is Power,” women are often left powerless.
About our Mission
A pan-nation not-for-profit organisation founded in 2023,
DhanSarthi seeks to bridge the gender wealth gap in rural India through a multi-faceted approach.
Gender Wealth Gap
The gender wealth gap is the significant difference in economic resources between men and women. In rural India, this disparity is often driven by societal norms and practices that favor men, such as unequal access to land, education, and financial resources. This gap can have severe consequences for women's lives, including poverty and limited opportunities.
Our Approach
DhanSarthi is dedicated to bridging the gap in financial knowledge and access. Our initiative operates on a three-step approach: financial inclusion, literacy, and leadership development. We believe that by equipping women with the tools to understand and navigate the financial landscape, we can catalyse transformative change in their lives and communities.

Community Feedback
“As a student, I found this guide incredibly helpful. Often textbooks complicate such topics but it really breaks down financial concepts in a way that’s easy to grasp.”
Angel Garg, Grade 12 Student
“I absolutely loved the chapter on gold investments. It was so women-centric, addressing the reality that while women may not always have cash, they often have gold in hand. It’s a brilliant approach to empowering us to make smart financial decisions with what we already own.”
– Meena Joshi, Homemaker
“I appreciate how DhanSarthi’s guide addresses financial literacy with sensitivity to cultural and social factors, making it a valuable resource for diverse audiences.”
– Manoj Gupta, Social Worker
“I found it incredibly insightful that the real estate chapter was immediately followed by one on property rights. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of understanding not just how to invest in property, but also knowing our rights as women to claim and protect those assets.”
– Kavita Sharma, School Teacher
